Getting to Lanzarote
Lanzarote has only one airport (Guacimeta) which lies between Arrecife (capital) and the popular town of Puerto del Carmen. The airport was recently modernized and is home to many restaurants, bars and shops. Retail hours are generally between 7:30am and 10:00pm daily. Foreign currency is accepted in all outlets and there are plenty of bank machines to obtain Euros.
